Borthers Visit....

My "little" brother, Marcus,
(from dad's side) came to visit us from Switzerland,
and my other "little" brother, Daniel, drove a few miles to meet him for the first time after abt 15 years!
We had a great time. Marcos brought his cousin, Sabrina, along. we met up with some of the guys from "Youth in Action" who were still in town.
Too bad it was so short, but we still had a bit of fun "sibling time" ;D

Night out.

I was so tired from the previous week, sleeping way late and waking early.
(As you can see from the pics) But I managed to "blend in"

Bar hopping at Copa/Ipanema.

Finally, after walking around in the rain,
we found cool place to perch.
(...And apparently to dump all our stuff on top of. :P)

...I have lived in Rio of-and-on for about 5 years and I had never visited the "Cristo" and now I go twice in the space of one week!

Tranlating for "Youth in Action"...

I was invited work as a translator at a youth event for a week. Sort of a youth exchange program, a EU sponsored project...The theme was about Racism and Xenophobia etc.
Anyway, I ended up having a lot of fun in the process, and made many new friends from different corners of the world.
Participants came from: Spain, Holland, Sweden, Mexico, Bolivia and Brazil! (others from: Latvia, Canada, Germany)
